Landmark It

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 8, 2026 · Landmark It (com.eanicustech.LandmarkIt)
Developer: Ian Oakes (Individual Apple Developer) · Brand: Eanicus Tech

This Privacy Policy describes how Landmark It (“the App”), operated by Ian Oakes under the Eanicus Tech brand, handles information on your device. Landmark It is a local-only iOS app. It does not create user accounts, does not use iCloud sync for your landmark list, and does not include analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or advertising identifiers.

Information the App uses

Landmark It may use the following, only as needed for the features you use:

How data is stored

Your landmarks (coordinates, timestamps, reverse-geocoded names/addresses, optional notes, optional photos, and card images) are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. There is no Landmark It backend account cloud and no iCloud sync of your landmark list. The system may use Apple location and Maps services on-device as part of iOS when you use those features.

Sharing

Your landmark data stays on your device unless you choose to share it yourself (for example, by opening a place in Apple Maps or using the system share sheet). We do not sell personal data. We do not upload your landmark list to our servers.

Third-party services

When auto card imagery uses Wikipedia or Apple Look Around, those requests go to those providers’ networks under their respective terms and privacy practices. Bundled stock images do not require a network fetch. The App does not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Children’s privacy

Landmark It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App in a way that concerns you, contact us and we will help you remove data by guiding you to delete landmarks or the App.

How to delete your data

Delete individual landmarks in the App, or delete the App from your device. Because data is stored only on device, removing the App removes the local landmark data with it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
